Our small garden
Plot to Plate.
A little garden, a lot of love.
Behind The Lacy Nook, we have our own little growing space. It's not enormous, and we're certainly not feeding the whole restaurant from it, but what we grow makes its way into our kitchen and onto your plates.

From tomatoes and courgettes to fresh herbs and whatever else the season allows, we love getting our hands dirty.

A little bit of growing, a little bit of cooking, and a whole lot of respect for good food.
What we do

Small Garden. Big Ideas.
We're passionate about vegetables, seasonal cooking and making the most of what nature gives us.

Our little garden is very much a work in progress. Some years the tomatoes go wild, other years the courgettes have their own ideas!

But we love growing what we can, using it in our dishes and returning our kitchen scraps to the soil through composting.

We're not pretending to be completely self-sufficient. We're simply trying to do things a little better, one season at a time.

The Process
From Plot to Plate. And Back Again.
We grow what we can, cook with the seasons and compost our food scraps.
It's a small cycle, but one we're rather proud of.
Good food starts with good soil. And sometimes ends up right back there!

Grow
Seasonal vegetables and herbs, grown with love (and occasionally a little frustration!).
Cook
Freshly picked ingredients making their way into our chefs' hands.
Share
Good food, delicious sharing plates and happy people around the table.
Compost
Our food scraps go back into the compost, helping feed the soil for the next growing season.
... And back in the plot it started from.
